Fair play to the lad, maybe one more year out at a championship team for him and then hopefully come in in place of ginge

With two games left it's shaping up for a Millwall v Bradford semi-final playoff.
I think I will be cheering on Bradford.

I quite like Bradford.

Even though the two third tier games I went to at Valley Parade when I lived in Bradford both gave me a headache.

Re: Reece Burke - Bradford player awards
Bradford season ticket holder at work today said he reckons he's one of the best players he's seen play for them in his lifetime and unless they get bought out and move up through the divisions then they are unlikely to see much better. Had nothing but praise for both Burke and Cullen.

Re: Reece Burke - Bradford player awards
Hopefully he'll get a good chance pre-season, be a shame to go out spending on a CB again if it means Burke (alongside Oxford) is denied an opportunity.

In reality that's up to the Board and Manager and whether they feel that the current squad can cope with Champions League football in a couple of years time, cos that's the club's target.

In reality we could've been there next season if not for the injuries and woeful officiating.

Re: Reece Burke - Bradford player awards
We could have 2 feeder teams in their respective top flights next year.

VVV Venlo are the top ranked team in the playoffs for promotion in Holland and we're set to get Hadjuk Split as a feeder club and they play in Europe most seasons.

Would be good experience to send some of our boys out there for European football. Spilt actually got a round further than we did this year :-)

I like the cut of the lads jib. Looks a decent lad and apart from getting a bit out-of-sorts with lukaku in the final minutes of the match last season ( wont be the first or last on the front!), looked like he could be a something special.

Needs another season on loan, to co-incide with gingers contract ending i read this week?

I like both him and Cullen both have good futures in the game if they carry on like this.

Re: Reece Burke - Bradford player awards
This lad is going right to the very top, will be a full international, and eventually our skipper. Mark my words.

Not only is that my opinion, but Rodders also snagged him off for being slow, which makes it a certainty he'll achieve greatness.

So you don't think he's shit anymore, Rodders?

Rodfarts 10:57 Wed Apr 27
Re: Reece Burke - Bradford player awards
He is slow but it looks like he is beggining to read the game a lot better.

Don't need bundles of pace if you read the game well and make the right decisions.

He should be on the bench for us now, learning from players of higher quality. He wont improve there.

Re: Reece Burke - Bradford player awards
From seeing him play in the Europa League I think he can cover right back too but the club need to make their mind up who will play there as a regular. Is Sam Byram the answer ?
In a way if we qualify for the EL at the 3QR we will have a better look at youngsters like Cullen,Burke,Samuelsen,Browne,Oxford,Page,Parfitt-Williams and Henry. It did them a power of good this season.
It will be interesting to see how Burke performs in the summer. I feel he is ready to step in to the first team 18. Having him go to a championship team will be waste.
Oxford is the one who needs game time at a championship club.

Re: Reece Burke - Bradford player awards
I disagree whoicidal I think he needs to step up a level maybe a season in the championship.
